چکیده
Objective: To describe a case of uterine leiomyomata as cause abdominal compartment syndrome in the postpartum period. Study Design: Case report, short communication Results: n/a Conclusion: Uterine leiomyomas are common benign smooth muscle tumors that often occur during reproductive years. Although many cases may not result significant complications, negative pregnancy outcomes have been associated with size and location fibroids. Degeneration fibroids can early late first trimester when they undergo volumetric growth, contributing to pain pregnancy. While myomectomy is typically avoided pregnancy, conservative management anti-inflammatory medications be effective. Surgical removal or preterm delivery necessary if symptoms persist. Abdominal (ACS) rare condition characterized by sustained elevated intraabdominal pressure leading organ failure. ACS resulting from large-volume period has previously described, we present 25-year-old patient massive who required indicated via primary Cesarean section at 25-weeks gestation. Her course was complicated ACS, requiring emergent surgical decompression. When large fibroid burden period, should considered.
